To create a brand new cluster, user selects "Create new cluster" option on this screen and then click "Start" button to initiate the process.
User has an option to select Provider of their liking from a list of popular cloud service providers supported by the Cloudsense Platform and are allowed by the admin. Click "Next" button to move to a next screen.
User also has an option to use "Advanced Settings" to manually select different versions of Kubernetes, Argo and Istio. Checking a box for "No Cloudsense" allows user to create vanila cluster without Cloudsense services like Grafana or Prometheus etc. Click Next button to move to a next screen.
On this page provide a name of a cluster to easily recognize later from a long list of clusters. Select a Workspace where user wants to create new cluster. And then select the environment whether it is Production or Development. Click Next button to move to a next screen.
On this screen selects if it has to be a Kubeflow cluster or just generic based on a the application need. Click Next button to move to a next screen.
Depending on the target cloud service provider, options of regions supported by the provider are listed for the user to select most appropriate region. Click Next button to move to a next step in the process.
In this step user is given an option to select number of applications to run on the cluster. This will determine the size requirement of nodes in cluster.
In this step, review the settings and if everything looks good then click "Deploy" button to deploy cluster on target environment.
In this final step, if user is sure to create a cluster then click "Create" button to deploy cluster on target environment. This may take few minutes before the cluster is ready to deploy apps.
Newly created cluster will show up in the cluster list and will show its current status.
